We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Program Assistant to join our team and assist with a variety of programs, particularly for our Arkansas office.

Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties;
- Assist in managing landowner inquiries, verifying eligibility, and organizing relevant documents for our septic remediation and conservation programs.
- Organize and maintain project/program data to ensure accurate and accessible information for team use.
- Track budget expenditures and assist in account reconciliation to support financial accountability.
- Coordinate team calendars to facilitate scheduling and communication among team members and externally.
- Assist in project development by gathering information and contributing to planning processes.
- Conduct research to support project goals and gather relevant data.
- Assist program managers and directors with other administrative tasks as needed.
- Represent H2Ozarks at community events through tabling and public engagement.
- Engage the public by communicating about watershed and water quality issues in a clear and accessible way.
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email marketing, and digital advertising.
- Write newsletter articles and manage social media content and scheduling.
- Provide support in planning and coordinating outreach initiatives and meetings, ensuring logistics are effectively managed.
- Participate in training programs to deepen your knowledge of water quality, partner collaboration, and landowner outreach.
- At least two years of office administration experience or equivalent.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software as applicable to the position.
- Experience generating reports and interpreting data.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Proven ability to manage time and meet deadlines across multiple projects.
- Experience working across teams and communicating with a wide range of people.
- Ability to communicate positively and compassionately with the public.
- Experience with social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram.
- A passion for environmental protection and an eagerness to learn.
- $16-$19 per hour commensurate with experience and demonstrated skills.
