Championship Martial Arts Hosts Spring 2025 Belt Testing Event
CMA Students Show Off Skills
(Branson West, MO) About 100 Students from the Branson and Table Rock Lake locations of Championship Martial Arts came together Saturday, May 31, for the Spring 2025 Belt Testing and Promotion Ceremony held at Reeds Spring High School. Students performed traditional forms (also called patterns or katas), various levels of sparring, and powerful board breaks, all designed to test their technique, focus, and perseverance.
“The event showcased the dedication and progress of martial arts students of all ages as they demonstrated their skills in front of a panel of Black Belt judges ranging from 1st to 6th Degree,” Mike Adams, owner of Championship Martial Arts in Branson West said.
Two standout promotions marked major milestones at this testing:
- Mr. Alex Jones earned his 1st Degree Black Belt
- Ms. Jannet Guevara achieved her 2nd Degree Black Belt
“Both students exemplified the values of Focus, Discipline, Respect and Confidence that Championship Martial Arts is known for,” Adams added.
In addition to the student testing, several black belts performed advanced board breaks and advanced forms as a special demonstration. These performances offered students and their families a glimpse of what lies beyond the black belt — reinforcing that martial arts is a lifelong path of growth, challenge, and excellence.
